who are watching us around the country on wgn america and on the web. victims of superstorm sandy will have to wait for the next session of congress to see if they'll get billions of dollars in federal aid. 2013 will still end up being a little bit more costly. late last night the house approved a measure passed earlier by the senate. extending unemployment benefits. a clear victory for president obama the campaign on promises to only raise taxes on the wealthiest americans. i also know all that raises taxes on the wealthiest 2 percent of americans. how this a had a severe impact on families across america. they still will take a financial hit in 2013. at least 2 percent more in payroll taxes. cutting into most workers' paychecks. it will hit illinois and is especially hard. >> is a double whammy. they're getting another tax hike, the 2 percent payroll tax. for a median house and come they might be saving 5000-ton thousand dollars a year. this is $2,100 less. while everybody is happy that the worst was avoided many are disgusted at how the entire ordeal turned up. the little guy
